Orthopedic Associates of Pittsburgh participates with Medicare, Highmark, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Health America/Health Assurance, Aetna, United Health Care and other commercial products. We are also authorized physicians for many worker's compensation panels.

Most insurance plans have specific guidelines. It is in your best interest to contact your carrier to verify your coverage. Our office will also verify your physical therapy coverage and obtain physical therapy authorization from your carrier. It is important for you to let us know if you have had any previous physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech or chiropractic manipulation during the calendar or benefit year as this may pose some limit to your number of visits.

We accept Master Card, Visa, American Express and bank debit cards. If your treatment is due to a motor vehicle accident or worker's compensation injury, please provide us with the name and address of the responsible insurance company and your claim number. It is essential that we have this information at the time of your first visit. To protect your interest, obtain referrals if they are required by your personal insurance carrier, in the event your worker's compensation claim is denied or your motor vehicle benefits are exhausted.
